In co-founding Privatus, I sought to bring a new model of private care to the marketplace, offering distinctive options and customer service that would support our client’s healthcare and lifestyle preferences. I am also responsible for steering the company’s strategic direction and expansion into new markets in addition to developing new service offerings.
As the President of Privatus with over 35 years in the healthcare industry, my role is multifaceted. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Boston University and have nursing experience in both the hospital and skilled nursing facility settings. My experience as a facility liaison provided me with extensive insight into to challenges individuals face as they encounter a health and/or aging issue. This foundation has been beneficial in establishing our practices at Privatus to provide guidance with integrity and a dignified client experience. I lead our team of Client Services Consultants in business and relationship development and am involved in all aspects of daily operations.
As the Vice President of Operations, I oversee all aspects of our service delivery in all Privatus locations. With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and as a licensed Registered Nurse, I have over thirty years of experience in business and healthcare settings.
I enjoy this role because it allows me to contribute to and collaborate with a terrific team of kind and compassionate experts in a customer service based company. One of the most satisfying parts of my position is hearing the feedback from a client regarding the positive impact Privatus has had on their quality of life and the lives of their loved ones.
As the Executive Director of the Osterville office, I oversee the day to day operations of the South Shore, Cape Cod, and the Islands. My background as a U.S. Marine as well as being a Registered Nurse affords me the privilege of ensuring that Privatus clients receive outstanding care with exceptional customer service. It is a joy to work with a devoted team that truly cares about making a difference in the lives of our clients and caregivers alike.
As the Executive Director of our Long Island offices, it is my responsibility to ensure that our daily operations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. My goal is to make sure that all of our clients receive the highest quality experience possible, from our coordination team to our nursing supervisors to myself. With over 15 years of experience in the New York home care industry, I have held several positions that have helped me to grow and gain a broader knowledge of what it takes to operate a successful home care office. We have a great Manhattan team who are passionate about what they do, and I enjoy working together with them each day to meet our goals. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two young children and wonderful wife, as well as running, and enjoying some quiet time in my backyard.
As the Controller for Privatus I am responsible for financial operations of every location that we service. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance I have over twenty-five years of professional experience, and over ten as a Controller in the healthcare industry.
The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that I work for a company that truly has an impact on people’s lives.
My primary role is to educate professionals and family members about Privatus and the services that we offer. Whether rushing to meet a family in the emergency room or on the phone with an overwhelmed family member on a Friday afternoon, my mission is providing guidance and support, regardless of the day of the week or hour in the day. The most rewarding part of my job is helping families and knowing we are truly making a difference in someone’s life. I am very grateful to be part of an organization that really cares about quality and service.
In my role as Executive Director for the Greenwich, CT and Armonk, NY offices of Privatus, I oversee the daily operations for our Connecticut and Westchester clients. As a Registered Nurse having spent the greater part of my career in home care, I truly value the customer service model that Privatus affords our home care clients. I am fortunate to have a knowledgeable, dedicated team committed to ensuring that each client receives exceptional care tailored to their specific wants and needs. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, and caring for my pets.
My role is to assist our CEO and President with the behind-the-scenes functions of keeping the business running smoothly. From creating marketing pieces, to planning company events, to assisting in the on-boarding of new employees, my day-to-day tasks run a wide gamut. I truly enjoy the varied nature of my role and the opportunity it has given me to connect with and assist many of my Privatus colleagues throughout our office locations. In my personal time, you will often find me working on home renovation projects with my husband or honing my creative skills with endeavors like teaching myself textile design.
