Summer Fun With Privatus Lifestyle Concierges: New Jersey, The Hamptons & Long Island
Living Your Best Life, Seasonal Advice
At Privatus, we prioritize emotional well being just as highly as physical health. Appreciating life and spending time outside can do wonders for the soul. Summer is the perfect time to get out and enjoy whatever makes your heart sing, and our Lifestyle Concierges are here to help get you out enjoying the summer no matter what your level of mobility.
We’ve compiled some of our favorite places to visit with our clients during the warmer months, and will be sharing more throughout the next few days!
Priscilla Ortega – New Jersey
“I have been taking our clients to E. Palisades Ave {in Englewood NJ}. This strip has restaurants, shopping, and plenty of entertainment. I’ve enjoyed many sunny afternoons getting a cone at Ben and Jerry’s with a client, and then sitting outside at the nearby park, just people watching and chatting. I’ve also made a note to take my theatre-loving clients to Shakespeare In The Park in Englewood or Teaneck – I’ll pack a light dinner, bring some chairs and we’ll have ourselves a lovely evening.”
Kelsey Truglio – The Hamptons and Long Island
“During these warm months, I think most of my clients really enjoy being outdoors and enjoying the beauty that is the Long Island Coastline. There are several beaches throughout the island that can be accessed by car. My favorites are:
Long Beach/Point Lookout – beach and boardwalk with plenty of restaurants and shops close by.
Jones Beach State Park – beach and concert amphitheater with free music and movie events as well as big-name shows. Concessions and eateries nearby.
Robert Moses State Park – beach and state park with concessions and iconic lighthouse.
Sometimes when the weather is just a bit too warm to be outside, I enjoy strolling through museums with my clients. We browse artwork, learn something new, and enjoy the air conditioned buildings!
Old Westbury Gardens and Museum – a historic mansion turned museum with picturesque gardens.
Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium – a historic mansion turned museum and planetarium with frequent events for all ages.
Parrish Art Museum – an architectural art piece filled with local art.
Pollock-Krasner House and Studio – the real former home of Jackson Pollock and wife Lee Krasner turned art museum, with Jackson’s paint-splattered work space open to viewing.
At Privatus, we take care of everything, from transportation to and from these destinations to mapping out accessible activities once there. It doesn’t matter if your loved one cannot drive, or even walk. They can still enjoy – and that is our goal.
